About Holly Marie
Holly Marie is the owner and creator of Flora Alchemy Co. She is a Colorado floral creative and plant enthusiast. She was born in Norfolk, Virginia by the ocean and has lived in the mountains of Colorado since 2011. Holly has always had a deep connection to the Earth and plant life since she was a little kiddo. Playing in the garden on the river with her grandparents in VA are some of her favorite memories.
Holly is also a 750+ hr Certified Community Herbalist and owner of Spirit of the Herbs Apothecary shoppe (est. 2013). She received a flower press upon graduating from herb school in 2016 and thus began her obsession with pressed flowers and creating all kinds of art with their natural beauty. In recent years, Floral preservation has become one of her most favorite ways to express her creativity.
In January 2023, she crossed paths with local Floral Designer, Sarah Vess of Ladybird Poppy, and took her first Floral Fundamentals 101 Class at Colorado Flower Collective.
This amazing class changed how she viewed floral design technique and since then she's completely immersed herself in growth in the floral industry.
Holly was recently welcomed as a Floral Designer at Poppy Flowers and works as a freelance designer in the Denver Metro area.
Holly is married to her sweet husband, Willy and they have 3 cats Onyx, Nebula and GG.
